BUILDING NEW AUDIENCES FOR MCLAREN AND SCALING THEIR SPONSORSHIP

CHALLENGE

McLaren X Tezos were looking for unique solutions to create a highly engaging, cohesive concept for a multi-drop, campaign-able series. They wanted to open opportunities for F1 and McLaren fans to sample the possibilities of WEB 3.0 whilst making the process as frictionless as possible.

SOLUTION

Capital Block developed an industry first solution for McLaren and Tezos to produce the campaign 23/23, a 23 multi-stage digital collection that would drive fan excitement and follow every twist and turn of the 2023/24 season. Block Studio produced 23 unique collectables reflecting every track on the F1 calendar that, through data, could be directly linked to McLaren’s performance.

CB created a trio of videos to tease, launch and drove 01/23 sign-ups to the McLaren marketplace. Backed by a marketing campaign across Web2 and Web3 channels, including McLaren’s discord and all parties' social channels, the campaign was the most successful FREE sports NFT drop to date!
